ولد في نيويورك، الولايات المتحدة (مايو 1984) ،وهو رجل أعمال أمريكي ، أسس مارك زوكربيرج موقع التواصل الأجتماعي (فيس بوك) والذي أسسه وهو يدرس في جامعة هارفارد، ويعد من أكبر المواقع التواصل الأجتماعي إذا لم يكن الأكبر،

كان والده (أدوارد زوكربيرج)  طبيب أسنان ووالدته (كارين زوكربيرج) طبيبة نفسية، ويعد ديانة والدا مارك اليهود.

بعض المعلومات عن مارك وبريسيلا:

في يوم من الأيام التقى مارك زوكربيرج ببريسيلا تشان وهي طالبة طب في جامعة كاليفورنيا، 

في عام 2003 أصبحوا يلتقو أكثر، وفي عام 2010 انتقلو إلى بيت مارك في بالو ألتو وفي عام 2012 تزوجا.

وفي عامي 2015 و 2016 أصبح لدى مارك وبريسيلا ابنتان الأولى في عام 2015 (ماكسيما) والثانية في عام 2016 (أغسطس).

تم تأسيس فيس بوك (Facebook) في 4 فبراير 2004، المقر كاليفورنيا ، الولايات المتحدة.

في وقت سابق حدثت بعض الأشااعات عن فيس بوك والتي أثرت على منصاتها ، وقد تداول بعض المعلومات أن التطبيقات التي تضمها فيس بوك تؤثر على عقلية الأشخاص. 

ومن أحد الأسباب أيضا أن فيس بوك ترمز إلى أسم منصة واحدة وليس ككل.

وقد قال مارك زوكربيرج: أنه يريد أن يُدرج جميع التطبيقات التي يمتلكها تحت علامة تجارية واحدة. وأيضا بسبب أن مارك وشركته يركزون على تقنية metaverse.
